Lets face it, the Tamagotchi craze is everywhere. Its like, "You don't have one, what's wrong with you?" Why has such a tiny machine taken the world by storm, and why is it so darn popular? In Japan, people are willing to pay hundreds of dollars just for one, and it is starting to hit in the mainland too.

Don't get me wrong, I happen to love these little guys, but what exactly has made them so popluar? The fact that they are not so easy to come by, or just maybe the simple fact that these little pocket-sized pets are the best thing since sliced bread. Many Tamagotchi look-alikes have also been produced, such as Giga-Pets, and Nano Pets, and Nano Babies. Also, Bandai has come out with a new line of Tamagotchi colors.

Why Tamagotchi's? Why not just plain gameboys? Whatever may be causing this craze, good luck to Bandai, and good luck on raising your eggs.
