Howzit?

I made the 450 mile drive from Albuquerque, NM to Denver, CO for the 8/25 show. It was a good show...definitely worth the drive. I took my 9-year old grand niece....she's now a fan of Cyril & Led and slack key. I think she has great taste in music. She also got to meet Cyril.

 Cyril played the first set. Mixed in between his great music he told some stories about his father. Led came out to play the 2nd set. The Denver promoter brought out a cake..it was Led's birthday.

The audience sang Happy Birthday and we all shared the cake after the show. My grand niece got a big kick watching Led play with this signature 'arm' style of play. Of course the audience loved it also. It's even entertaining to listen to him change the tuning of his guitar.  Cyril & Led played together during the last set. I know I saw something very special. I don't think I'll ever have the opportunity to see these two greats play together again.   

Bottom line is, if your listeners have the opportunity to see them.....just do it.
