MOVIE SUBJECT INFORMATION

A cold front was moving into North Alabama on the day of this event and visibility outside was about 300 meters with rain and fog. The scene I selected is our Christmas decorations above the fireplace.

EQUIPMENT USED FOR PHOTOS

An old Canon AE1 with 50 mm lens and the Kaidan KiWi+ (18 position head) on a Bogen tripod. I normally use the 18 indent head with 28 mm lens, but decided at the last minute to use the 50 mm lens to reduce the field of view. I also used a halogen lamp to create some background shadows.

PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES

The movie consists of 5 frames which spans 100 degrees and was stitched with Panimation's Nodester product. Stitched file was color adjusted and processed in Photoshop and then imported back into Nodester for final processing. This movie may end up being the smallest entered in this event (spans 100 degrees). Window size for the movie is (320 X 240) and file size is about 60K.

Thanks Rabbett
