Pre-School Story Hours will be held weekly beginning on Tuesday, October 3, at 10 am in the library auditorium. Guest community readers will participate each week, until October 31. Children and their parents or caregivers are welcome to this free series.

As you know, the library did not close in September as planned. A definite date will be reported in a future issue of the Waimanalo News. The library is slated for renovations to provide access to handicapped persons and to install new carpet. The projected time of closure is a minimum of 30 days, and 65 days maximum.

Is there a chess aficionado willing to teach children? Are you available several afternoons a week to volunteer? If interested, call the library for more information at 259-9925.
