Greetings from the rooftops of Downtown Sacramento, California! Our entry for the 11:00 am Global Wave Shoot depicts our rapidly growing city's beautiful skyline. The photo was taken from a rooftop in Historic Old Sacramento which is separated from downtown by Interstate 5. Although Mother Earth had blessed us with clear blue skies, sweet spring breezes and mild temperatures for several days, today she decided to take our blue skies away in exchange for a dull gray haze. She could of made it worse I guess... The photographer was Cabot O'Callaghan using an Epson PhotoPC 500 digital camera on a Bogen Manfrotto tripod and Peace River Studios 3Sixty panhead
