Being that we were finished with the pressing work in the studio for the day we chose to make our way down to Colorado Springs, CO. and the "Garden of the Gods". We had an amazingly warm day with lots of sun just about 48 hours after a very heavy snowstorm left more than a foot of snow in most of the front range communities. There is a nice path through the park but no one came through this area when it was time to shoot. Wish we had recorded some sound because we could hear people screaming all around us. (screaming with delight because they were playing on the rocks and in the snow)
This pano was recorded with our DC120 on a bogen tripod and rig we adapted in 1996 from available heads and such from our existing gear. Post production was done on one of our 9600/200 powermacs using QTVRAS.
