Specs: This, and my other panoramas, were shot on a Pentax K1000 using a 35mm lens and Agfa 400 ASA film. A lightweight tripod with spindly, unstable legs was used and it was horizontally aligned using the spirit-level in a $2 ruler. PhotoShop was used to prepare the images and integrate the extraneous wildlife.
Description: This is Burns Bay, part of the now polluted Lane Cove River which feeds into Sydney Harbour. This site is particularly known for its mangrove-lined mud flats and the abundance of tiny mud crabs that bubble and gurgle along its shores. Common birdlife are the pink-crested galah, kookuburra and ibis. There is a legend that the little people live within the many sandstone caves on its bank.
