A building site and the detour of a river.
View from the city-railway station on a huge building site for the new government buildings. The »Lehrter Stadtbahnhof« shall became the main station of Berlin. In the foreground you can see the big pumping station which is needed for the detour of the river »Spree« during the building time.
This panorama was stitched from 24 pictures taken with a Sony PC7e digital camcorder. After stitching, the panoramic picture was downscaled to 2880 X 384 pixels for better web performance, compressed with the Cinepak compressor, and converted to the QuickTime VR 1.0 format.
