The wave overruns us!
At 19.03.1998 evening I took the time to join the wrinkle 2 event. I thought i would have some time to think about shooting nice panos, but... Next morning the wave was coming along my home town. I took my camera, tripod, panohead and Boris, a friend of mine (and a member of my qtvr-crew). We started our Wrinkle race...but not from the pole position! 10 Minutes left to drive about 5 Kilometers into the forest. 5 Minutes left to jump (!!) the stairs up to the tower-top. 3 Minutes left to adjust the Kamera and to hear the 11h-Church Bells while we were shooting our first wrinkle-pano... breathing like a RHINO! The weather wasn't very nice but the air was fresh, the forest was waking up, birds were singin, dogs were barking...nice start of a very special and strenous two-day-event. Why strenous? Look our next panos and read our storys...

How we did it.
We used my Nikon F90X with a Nikor-Ultra-Wide-Lens (15mm), a Manfroto-Tripod (unfortunately a heavy-weight ;)) and my good ole Kaidan QP4 pano-head to shoot this pano. We used the Agfa RSX 50-Film. We digitized the pictures on a Topaz-Scanner, stitched the pictures with the qtvr-authoring tools/mpw.
